Caring Habitat is guided by strong leadership with diverse clinical expertise cumulatively over 100 years (or a century) of patient care experience, mostly in the diaspora.
The Board of Directors includes the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Olusola Odemuyiwa, a retired renowned Lead Cardiologist, author, seasoned administrator, and grandfather, the Managing Director, Dr. Laolu Odemuyiwa, M.D., MSc, FACP double board certified in internal medicine as well as hospice and palliative care with special emphasis on chronic disease management and wound care, the non-clinical Director, Mrs Faosat Odemuyiwa with vast experience in patient care management who has also been an integral part of the vision and governance from inception.

Adebowale Ojekale
General Manager / Head of Operations
Adebowale Ojekale is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 15 years of leadership experience in hospital administration, quality management, and operational strategy. A specialist in systems design and financial optimization, he has a proven track record of turning complex healthcare challenges into profitable, high-performing operations.
Under his leadership, he is successfully scaling utilization while managing a multidisciplinary team of over 60 professionals.
As a PECB Certified Lead Auditor, he is an expert in maintaining rigorous quality standards and regulatory compliance. Adebowale is dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery through operational innovation, data-driven decision-making, and a deep commitment to people-centered leadership.
Dr. Marilyn Uzoamaka Osanife
CONSULTANT CLINICAL DIRECTOR / MBBCH (NU Irel), MBBS (RCSI), DTM (RCSI), MRCGP (UK)
Dr. Marilyn Osanife is a highly accomplished Consultant Clinical Director with nearly 30 years of international experience, primarily in the United Kingdom. A graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (1986), she holds specialist expertise in Primary Care, Geriatric Medicine, and Post-Acute Rehabilitation.
Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Osanife has excelled in managing complex multimorbidity, frailty, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation. In her current executive role, she provides strategic and operational leadership to a diverse team of medical and allied health professionals. She is responsible for overseeing inpatient services, ensuring clinical governance, and maintaining rigorous evidence-based standards.
Dr. Osanife is deeply committed to patient-centered care, prioritizing dignity and shared decision-making through transparent communication with families and stakeholders. Beyond clinical practice, she drives service excellence through formal performance appraisals, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits. Known for her collaborative leadership and cultural competence, she remains dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for those under her care.
Dr. Olajumoke Ademuyiwa
Family Physician | MBBS, DFM
Dr. Ademuyiwa Olajumoke is a dedicated Family Physician at the prestigious Caring Habitat rehabilitation center. With nearly 20 years of medical experience, she serves as the clinical backbone of patient recovery, seamlessly bridging acute medical care with long-term functional restoration.
Specializing in a patient-centered, holistic approach, Dr. Olajumoke coordinates multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized programs for those recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. Her expertise lies in managing complex comorbidities, such as diabetes and hypertension, optimizing medications, and preventing complications that could hinder progress.
Beyond clinical oversight, she is a passionate advocate for patient education and counseling, working closely with families to restore hope and confidence. From initial goal-setting to discharge planning and reintegration, Dr. Olajumoke ensures every recovery journey is safe, structured, and focused on lasting independence.

Emmanuel Chukwu
Head of Occupational Therapy | B.Sc. OT, DOT, MRTB Licensed
Emmanuel Chukwu is a highly skilled Registered Occupational Therapist and the Head of the Occupational Therapy Department at Caring Habitat. With a solid academic foundation from the Federal School of Occupational Therapy and Obafemi Awolowo University, he brings extensive clinical experience in mental health and medical rehabilitation.
Licensed by the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board (MRTB) of Nigeria, Emmanuel is dedicated to helping individuals regain independence through meaningful daily activities. He specializes in conducting detailed functional assessments and developing personalized intervention plans that address emotional well-being, social participation, and essential life skills.
As a clinical leader, he oversees the delivery of inpatient rehabilitation services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, goal-oriented care. Guided by empathy and professionalism, Emmanuel focuses on creating structured, person-centered programs that empower clients to build sustainable routines and move confidently toward lasting recovery. His core belief is simple: with the right therapeutic structure, every individual can rebuild their confidence and functional abilities.
Aisosa Omoriyekemwen
Head of Pharmacy / PharmD, B.Pharm
Aisosa Omoriyekemwen is a licensed pharmacist with over six years of diverse experience across clinical practice, rehabilitation care, and health technology. Holding both a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), she brings deep expertise in medication safety, therapeutic optimization, and patient-centered care.
Throughout her career, Omoriyekemwen has specialized in medication therapy management and pharmacovigilance, particularly within long-term care settings. Her commitment to public health is evidenced by her community outreach initiatives, which have impacted over 1,000 lives by promoting rational drug use and improving medication adherence for underserved populations.
As the Head of Pharmacy at Caring Habitat Rehabilitation Facility, she leads the delivery of pharmaceutical services, ensuring medication management is seamlessly integrated into each patient’s recovery plan. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and a focus on continuous quality improvement, she prioritizes safety and effective treatment to support holistic rehabilitation. Her work ensures that every patient receives the precise pharmaceutical care needed to regain their health and independence.
Akindele Akinwonmi
Head of Physiotherapy | BPT, MRTB (NG), HCPC (UK)
Akindele Akinwonmi is a highly skilled physiotherapist with over 14 years of experience across the public and private sectors. An alumnus of the University of Ibadan, he is board-certified in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. His extensive clinical expertise spans Neurology, Orthopaedics, Sports Physiotherapy, and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
Akindele is widely recognized for his leadership and innovation. During his tenure with the Lagos State Government, he was honored as the Best Physiotherapist in Lagos State (2022) for his outstanding contributions to patient care and staff wellness initiatives. His creativity and analytical approach have led to the implementation of structured fitness programs that have been adopted across multiple hospitals.
Currently serving as the Head of Physiotherapy at Caring Habitat, Akindele was recently named the Most Outstanding Head of Department for his organizational excellence. A vibrant advocate for rehabilitation services, he combines clinical mastery with a passion for continuous professional development, ensuring his team delivers efficient, evidence-based care that drives patient recovery and functional independence.
Samuel Atilola
Clinical Psychologist | B.Sc., M.Sc.
Samuel Atilola is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a strong professional background in both public and private mental health sectors. He earned his degree in General and Applied Psychology from Obafemi Awolowo University and holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ibadan.
Samuel’s clinical foundation was built through intensive internships and service at Nigeria’s premier mental health institutions, including the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Yaba, and the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta. These experiences have shaped his expertise in the assessment and treatment of diverse psychological and behavioral issues among young adults and adults.
In addition to his clinical work, Samuel is a passionate advocate for mental wellness, sharing insights through his blog and professional network. He specializes in creating structured therapeutic pathways that foster resilience and emotional well-being. Outside of his practice, he is an avid reader, writer, and fitness enthusiast.
Ngozi Praise Okwudiri
Speech and Language Therapist | B.Ed, M.Ed
Ngozi Praise Okwudiri is a highly dedicated Speech and Language Therapist with a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Ibadan. With over eight years of experience, including specialized clinical training at Regions Stroke and Neuroscience Hospital, she has developed a profound expertise in helping individuals overcome diverse communication and swallowing challenges.
Ngozi specializes in a wide range of conditions across the lifespan, including:
- Paediatrics: Neurodivergent conditions (Autism, ADHD), genetic disorders (Down syndrome), and congenital issues like cleft palate.
- Neurological Care: Cerebral palsy and hearing impairments.
- Adult Rehabilitation: Stroke recovery involving complex conditions such as Aphasia, Dysarthria, Dysphagia, Dysphonia, and Apraxia of speech.
Known for her compassionate and evidence-based approach, Ngozi provides personalized assessments and diagnostic services tailored to each client’s unique communication goals. Her mission is to empower individuals to find their voice and improve their quality of life through structured, person-centered therapy.
